I was watching some movies tonight and three, count’em three got my attention. The first one, I was trying to find out what the outside world thought of my people, the hackers. It’s an ok one, at least it attempts to paint the picture of what a hacker truly is.
I got an email from my buddy Devin about this band he found online. The group is called The Aviators and they hail from “the garages and basements of Spaniard’s Bay, Newfoundland”. They play “a variety of classic rock and more modernized endeavors” and “take just about any gig available, and write music, in hopes of some day recording and generally becoming much more awesome than [they] are now.” For more information on them, you can check out their YouTube page. The sound quality is a bit shoddy, but what is to be expected from a basement recording? Props to these guys.
The last video is from browsing youtube while working on the mashup bit for a spanish project. Getting conversions just right is pretty tricky business, even with vixy.net, and after going at it for several hours, I’ve decided to work on a different spanish project by myself.
