I sent a nice lil email to one of the reps about how they are only watching out for the corporations and not the people. Apparently the data we send and receive isn’t private, but completely up to the sole discretion of the government and ISP said sender and receiver are using.

Whoever controls the IP address block can change the PTR records, which is typically your ISP or hosting provider. Unless you were delegated your own IP address block by your service provider, in which case you could update the records on the DNS server(s) managing the IP address block.

Hello,
Is the reverse PTR something the hosting provider must set up, OR can you make this change in the DNS of your own VPS? If the latter, what would that be?
